Please note the below actions that can be expected from an Admin when a player commits an offense in game:

We will follow a Kick & Ban format. Warnings are not required to be done by an Admin, they are however allowed to show leniency should they feel it deserved and warn the player prior to taking further action.

Chat based offenses;

Example: Spamming, inappropriate names and inappropriate language.

All of these offenses are of the same type, so if someone chat spams and get's kicked, then decides to be abusive with poor choices of words, they will be banned. As is to be expected though, admin discretion will be used in all circumstances. An Admin may warn the user if they choose to, otherwise they will be kicked immediately.

Actions to be expected:

1. The player will be kicked as soon as the offense is committed.

2. Should the player keep it up after they have been kicked, they will be banned for a period entirely dependent upon their behavior.

Further examples of the above rule:

Repeating the same message multiple times. (by text or in-game commands)

Warning players of an important situation multiple times, within reason. (losing main, stolen aircraft)

Names which are abusive or derogatory and targeted at a player. ('x is an idiot' is not ok)

Names which a good number of people take offence to. (Hitler, SS soldier etc.)

Names which deliberately impersonate another player

Names that imply you're in an established clan when you're not really a member.

Names that contain profanity.

Names that can't be seen clearly in-game.

Names that aren't visible to us through the RM Admin tool.

Names which include sexual chat, within reason.

Names which may contain abusive/derogatory words but are not targeted at a player. ('idiot' is fine.)

Repeatedly being abusive to someone. (targeted insulting)

Racist language is not appropriate.

Anything deemed excessive by an admin. (Like everything you say being an insult)

Excessive accusing of hacks/weapon insulting/whiner or crying comments.

Being asked to stop by the player you are targeting and refusing to. (within reason)

Occasional sexual chat is fine, within reason. An admin or player can ask you to stop if they feel it has gone too far as we do get people of all ages here.

The occasional rude comment is fine. Saying it as a joke if the player understands is fine. However, if the player asks you to stop or feels offended you are expected to stop.

Game based offenses:

Example: Being disruptive, team-killing, shooting friendly vehicles, main rape & map exploits.

All of these offenses are of the same nature. Thus, if someone shoots a friendly vehicle and gets kicked, then comes back to main rape they will be banned. This applies only if the intent was malevolent in nature.

Putting your team at a distinct disadvantage by taking vehicles, but not using them to fight.

Taking a tunnel and refusing to place it.

Excessive Team-switching.

Hiding at the end of a map and making no effort to capture a flag.

Giving away player positions. (The only exception is for the situation directly above.)

Taking a vehicle as one team, and deliberately giving it to the other.

Destroying a tunnel/spawnbox belonging to your team.

Hacking would also be classed as disruptive game-play.

Blowing up a vehicle with a teammate nearby.

Deliberately crashing a vehicle with a teammate in.

Deliberately crashing a vehicle into a teammate.

Shooting a vehicle belonging to your team for any reason other than preventing an enemy who is about to get it/to re-spawn it as it is damaged and can't be easily repaired/killing the enemy near or in it.

Any glitches in a map that give a player an unfair advantage, usually by providing them a way to kill players without the players they target being able to shoot back, are classed as exploits.

This includes shooting through walls, being in walls and being under floors. We don't class mortar jumping as a map exploit as the player has no real unfair advantage.

Main rape is the act of attacking the opposing teams' main, with aircraft, when they own other flags. This also includes stolen aircraft, so you can't steal a US aircraft and attack US main, and vice versa, before last flag.

The exact conditions of main rape for each map are listed at www.helloclan.eu/pages/bfv/

If a flag is white, it does not belong to a team. As such, if a team only has 1 flag and the rest are white, you can attack their main with aircraft. The best way to tell is to look at the boxes above the minimap, which signify the amount of flags that team owns; if there is more than 1, don't rape!

Flying over main, ramming with aircraft at main, capturing main with aircraft and killing retreating or attacking enemy aircraft, as long as they are above the main, are not classed as rape; only the act of shooting at the main itself constitutes main rape, which includes vehicles on the ground. This means firing heat-seekers towards a main, when you have no legitimate target in that direction, and therefore know that your missiles will hit the main or something in it, is main rape.

Being AFK;

Example: You had to step out for something and didn't leave the game. (away from keyboard)

Actions to be expected:

1. The player will be asked if they are playing. This will be through yellow admin chat or in-game, both count as sufficient warning. Should they respond, nothing further will happen.

2. Should the player not respond after being given a sufficient amount of time, or should they still fall under any of the below conditions, the player will be kicked.

Conditions for being AFK:

At least one of the following conditions need to be met for us to decide a player is AFK.

1. a) The player must have a score of 0 0 0, signifying they've made no game-play actions.

1. b) The player must have no kit beside their name, signifying they haven't spawned.

1. c) The player must have a greyed out name for at least a few minutes, signifying they've not joined.

Additional Notes:

Ban evasion:

Should a player be banned and they attempt to circumvent their ban by making use of dubious methods, they will find any and all new CD-Keys banned as well as additional info to prevent them from entering the game until their ban has been served. Should they truly persevere, they may find themselves banned for a month on top of their original ban just for the evasion.

Admin discretion:

As mentioned in the above topic, Admins have the sole right to use their discretion when dealing with rule breakers. They are entitled to apply just punishment should the need arise. Should there be any unfair treatment, you may discretely report an Admin here: https://www.helloclan.eu/forums/296/

Admins may warn you out of respect before kicking you, however it is not a prerequisite to kicking you.

The above is just an example:

The above mentioned rules and examples thereof serve merely as a guideline for all players to know what is mainly do and do not. There exists a line between the rules and this is the reason the Admins reserve the right to use their discretion when they come across a player attempting to blur the lines between right and wrong.
